We can predict how well a nation will survive and prosper
by measuring the concern of one generation for the next."
Since 1922, thousands of Stark County
students have been able to turn their college dreams into
reality with the financial assistance of The Canton Student
Loan Foundation. The organization grants low-interest loans
to help meet the ever-increasing cost of higher education.
The Foundation is an Ohio non-profit corporation supported
by its membership and benefactors, and through memorial, estate
and special gifts. The Foundation has been able to continue
its operation because of the generosity of the community,
the wise investment of its income, and the conscientious repayment
of student loans.
Most donors are able to combine their charitable interest
with a tax savings by making a gift to The Canton Student
Loan Foundation. As a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization,
cash gifts may be tax deductible and other estate plans may
find substantial tax advantages by including The Canton Student
Loan Foundation.
WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!
As of 2009 over $23,200,000 in Foundation loans have been made available
to over 4,575 Stark County students, thanks to members and
special contributors.
Amounts Loaned*

In 2009 alone, the Foundation helped over 1,100 deserving Stark
County students with their higher education expenses. More
than 100% of every contribution dollar to the Foundation goes
for student loans! Interest earned from wise investment and
loan paybacks cover all general operating expenses of the
Foundation, and any additional interest that is earned is
added to the revolving pool of loan funds.
The Canton Student Loan Foundation is very proud of their
students' less than 1% default on all loan payback over the
last 87 years of operations. Your membership and contributions
couldn't work harder for our deserving Stark County students.
Please pledge your support today to help make a brighter future
for our students tomorrow!
